The MWM TCG 3020 V20 gas engine effectively balances efficiency and reliability. The genset delivers up to 15 percent more output, though its dimensions are almost the same as those of its predecessor. Additionally, the new model features long service intervals with up to 80,000 operating hours until the next general overhaul (if the gas quality is high) and a total efficiency of more than 87 percent (for natural gas). 

Owing to their high reliability and profitability, the new gas engines with an output of 2,300 kWel are ready for the challenges of Industry 4.0. Thanks to the use of the digitized power plant control TPEM (Total Plant & Energy Management), the gas engines boast maximum plant performance, availability, capacity, and usability.

Compared to the predecessor model, the TCG 3020 V20 features the same size, but a more compact design and up to 15 percent more output;

Reliable, intelligent core engine with state-of-the-art technology for an output of 2,300 kW;

Improved electrical efficiency of up to 45 percent (natural gas) and 43.6 percent (biogas), total efficiency of up to 87 percent (natural gas) and 84 percent (biogas);

Flexible use for natural gas, biogas, landfill gas, and propane gas applications.
