MKC Group of Companies joined the Anti-Corruption Charter of the Russian Business

On September 22, 2017, MKC Group of Companies joined the Anti-Corruption Charter of the Russian Business. Signing this document became an important step on the way of creating a system for reducing corruption risks at the enterprise.

Let us remind that the Anti-Corruption Charter of the Russian Business was signed by the four largest business unions of Russia, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, OPORA RUSSIA and Business Russia business associations at the XI Investment Forum in Sochi on September 20, 2012.

The purpose of the Charter is to provide active assistance to the voluntary implementation by Russian companies of special anti-corruption programs that consider internal control procedures, waiver of preferences, procurement based on open tenders, financial control, personnel training and development, assistance to law enforcement agencies and other measures. By today, around 4 thousand companies have become the members of the Charter.

In addition to the image component, joining the Anti-Corruption Charter of Russian business can give the participating companies a number of advantages. So, in particular, the possibility of introducing preferences for enterprises that have implemented anti-corruption programs are being considered, with their participation in competitive procurement procedures, which are carried out by large companies and government customers. In addition, the status of a participant in the Anti-Corruption Charter is taken into account by ranking companies when determining their position in the list of companies’ ratings.
