ISS power engineers have been switched to a reinforced work mode
In the South Urals, as well as in many other regions of Russia, the first frosts have set in. Tonight the thermometer in some settlements of the Chelyabinsk Region dropped to -37 degrees Celsius.
Low temperatures increase the risk of failures in power supply to consumers. That is why the service department of MKS Group of Companies has been switched to a reinforced work mode.
All facilities under the company's service in Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Kaluga and other regions are under special control. Dispatchers, service department and duty officers at the facilities work closely together.
The main task is to prevent emergencies caused by a sharp drop in temperature. According to forecasts, the cold weather in the South Urals will last for the whole next week.
But the ISS is ready for frost.
