Software and hardware complex with artificial intelligence

Hardware and software complex with artificial intelligence for organization of decentralized microenergy systems (Microgrid)

Jointly with MIPT

A software and hardware complex with artificial intelligence for hybrid autonomous power systems in hard-to-reach and energy-isolated settlements and facilities in the Arctic, Far East and Siberia is used to modernize inefficient diesel generation, reduce cost and improve power quality.

The software and hardware complex includes the following technologies:
  • intelligent agents with artificial intelligence for commercial dispatching of the retail electricity and capacity market (REMEM) and decentralized self-organization of microgrid systems with elements of RES (wind, solar) and modern domestic multi-mode diesel-ventilated power plants;
  • power electronics converter technology of a new generation;
  • lithium-ion balancing batteries with increased specific performance.
The software and hardware complex is designed:
  • for commercial dispatching of the Retail Electricity and Capacity Market (RECM);
  • to reduce peak loads and seasonal dependence;
  • to reduce electricity and capacity prices (reduction of cross-subsidization).
Microgrid is a concept of small-scale distributed power generation. It involves the creation of separate power grid structures in certain territories, which have their own energy sources and are able to take on the task of meeting the demand of consumers at the peak of peak loads, when the central grid is unable to provide it. A separate characteristic of this direction is the use of renewable energy sources, which are becoming increasingly important in certain territories.
