MKS Group of Companies and Autonomous Power Engineering Center at MIPT have concluded a cooperation agreement
MKS Group and the Autonomous Energy Engineering Center at MIPT signed a cooperation agreement. The parties agreed on partnership in the implementation of joint projects in the field of alternative and autonomous energy in various regions of Russia, including remote and Arctic territories.
The Autonomous Energy Engineering Center at one of the country's leading technical universities - Moscow Physics and Technology University - was established in 2017. It was then that the Arctic research program was launched at MIPT and the "MIPT Institute of Arctic Technologies" was created as part of the implementation of the Russian President's order. Today it includes the Center for Autonomous Energy, consisting of five laboratories, and the Autonomous Energy Engineering Center (AEEC), with which MKS Group has entered into a cooperation agreement.
The range of services of the Autonomous Energy Engineering Center at MIPT includes complex solutions for reliable energy and life support of settlements and facilities isolated from central communications. ICAE acts as a designer and integrator of complex engineering tasks of deployment and modernization of autonomous energy systems with capacity from 100 kW using alternative energy sources, storage and distribution systems.
Taking into account the dynamics of the ISS Group's development and the increasing number of projects, including those in remote and arctic territories, the parties agreed to conduct joint research and development, which would contribute to a comprehensive solution to the problems of organizing reliable energy supply of isolated territories.
