The first object of the MKS Group of Companies, which is being implemented as part of an energy service contract, is preparing for commissioning
MKS Group completes construction of a block-modular power plant in the Yaroslavl region. The power center with a total capacity of 1200 kW will provide electricity and heat to one of the key enterprises of the Russian aviation industry. It is noteworthy that for the MKS Group this mini-HPP was the first facility to be implemented under an energy service contract.
Construction of a 1200 kW block-modular power plant based on MWM TCG 2016 V12 gas piston generator set is realized by MKS Group of Companies according to its basic principle - "turnkey". The specialists of the company have carried out design works, calculated the layout of the equipment taking into account the location of the facility on the territory of the existing enterprise, supplied the generating equipment, Besides realized the production of block modules at its own production base in Chelyabinsk.
At the moment, construction and installation works at the facility are being completed. The power center is fully connected to the heat supply and gas supply systems of the enterprise. This week it is planned to complete electrical installation works, after which the company's specialists will start commissioning of the energy center.
The facility will operate in a cogeneration mode (simultaneous generation of electricity and heat), thanks to which the cumulative efficiency can reach 90%, ensuring economical fuel consumption. Natural gas will be used as fuel. The energy center will use the most advanced technologies and modern equipment to ensure maximum reliability, efficiency and environmental friendliness of its operation.
It should be noted that for MKS Group energy center in Yaroslavl region became the first object, which is being implemented under energoservice contract. This type of cooperation involves the operation of equipment owned by the MKS Group of Companies under a lease agreement with the subsequent possibility of purchase by the lessee at residual value to generate electricity and heat for the needs of the plant.
Today energy service contract is a mutually beneficial instrument of cooperation between the customer and the contractor. At the moment the MKS Group of Companies has managed to collect a pool of projects for energy service contracts with a total value of 1.6 billion rubles. This portfolio consists of at least eight small and distributed generation projects with a total installed capacity of more than 35 MW.
