The MKS Group of Companies launches the energy center 2 MW in the Chelyabinsk region

The MKS Group of Companies commissioned an energy center in the Kartaly district of the Chelyabinsk region. The 2 MW modular power plant will supply affordable electricity and heat to the largest natural stone production and processing enterprise of Russia.

One of the main tasks of the energy center built by the MKS Group of Companies is to provide the enterprise with a stable energy supply. In 2019, the plant opened a new workshop with an innovative equipment - an urgent need for stable and affordable electricity supply appeared. The management of the enterprise decided to build its own power plant. Turnkey work was taken over by the MKS Group of Companies.

Mini-CHP was built in a prompt manner according to the technology of a block-modular construction - the object is located on the territory of the plant, in the immediate vicinity to the consumer. MWM generator - TCG 2020 is used as the main equipment. The power center operates in cogeneration mode (simultaneous generation of electricity and heat). Energy savings will be significant: the price of electricity with the start-up of a new station for the enterprise will decrease almost threefold. The payback period of the facility will be about 3 years.

The customer enterprise is one of the dynamically developing plants of the Chelyabinsk region, which needs uninterrupted, reliable and affordable electricity supply. Today, the plant has five production lines, the company operates 24 hours a day. The main product is high-quality mineral fillers made of white marble. Micro-frame fillers and marble chips are used for the production of dry building mixtures, paint coatings, linoleum, skin substitutes, cleaning agents, ceramic tiles, dishes and even paper. Products are in demand in Russia and abroad.

Should be noted that marble production breathed a new life into the once-dying settlements of the Kartaly district of the Chelyabinsk region. The development of the new production gave several hundred workplaces at the marble quarry and at the factory. Provision of affordable and reliable power supply to the customer enterprise through the construction of an innovative power plant - contribution of the MKS Group of Companies to the development not only of a specific production, but also of this territory of the Chelyabinsk region.
